Miles and miles away,

I could hear your sweet, husky voice

       What if I told you,

What we have now was your choice
We’ve been soaring up high

Like a hawk that has lived in the sky

But you turned me into a prey

The moment I begged for you to stay
The hole in my chest is searing so bad

How could you forget something so rad,

       You said you loved me,

It’s merciless that you once loved me.

As I sail alone in this long,  tiresome journey

I tried to ponder what’s left of me

The depth of what we had was as deep

as the oceans that separate us; now a myth.©
